Συνάντηση με σκοπό την από κοινού προσπάθεια συνέχισης της εύρυθμης λειτουργίας του εγγειοβελτιωτικού έργου ΓΟΕΒ ΑΛΦΕΙΟΥ-ΠΗΝΕΙΟΥ πραγματοποιήθηκε το πρωί της Δευτέρας 11 Δεκεμβρίου στο συνεδριακό κέντρο της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Ηλείας. Στην συνάντηση συμμετείχε ο Αντιπεριφερειάρχης Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης Θεόδωρος Βασιλόπουλος έπειτα από πρόσκληση της διοίκησης του οργανισμού και του προέδρου Παναγιώτη Παρασκευόπουλου. Τα θέματα που συζητήθηκαν ήταν ο απολογισμός αρδευτικής περιόδου και προγραμματισμός ενεργειών για την αντιπλημμυρική θωράκιση των περιοχών του εγγειοβελτιωτικού έργου, και τα ανοιχτά ζητήματα που έχουν ανακύψει με το κόστος ενέργειας (οφειλές ΔΕΗ) ενόψει της νέας αρδευτικής περιόδου.
